  No photos sorry
Yes, I am sorry, but there are no photos. Text heavy post.

I have actually been knitting quite a lot, I have finished the heel flap without the little 3D bit for another pair of sock for myself with the Patonyle orange and pinky colourway, and I like it a whole lot more than I thought I would. I also knitted a whole huge amount of an afghan and then took it apart and reknitted it in basketweave rather than lacy pattern. I know what I have to admit to myself - although I am actually capable of doing tricky things, I prefer to knit quite basic patterns because knitting is my escape FROM tricky things.

Oh yes, after Sharon mentioned being the only knitter who had not made Panta, I had an attack of the guilts and made myself one. As did Cindy! I have always been a bit like this. Don't challenge me! I will prove you wrong!!

Manly has been shelved. I am also contemplating taking my wrap apart, as I had to go out this evening and put it on and promptly took it off again. I don't like it! I look like an EWOK!

A note to parents. Based on careful research done by moi, if you go away for two weeks and leave a sixteen year old boy home alone with his eighteen year old brother as the adult, there is bound to be a party at your house with screaming shrieking girls and breaking bottles. And a thumping thud thud thudding bass line. Just you wait neighbours, until my kids are old enough. I am saving up for the holidays. I am sure MY kids won't party in my absence - yeah right. Mwahahahaha.

Comments:
It looks like you've been spammed.

I'm glad my children are living in their own homes now so don't have to worry about parties any more.

I've just taken a few things off the shelf and have finished one and am in the process of woorking on another so will have a few less UFO's hanging around.

So sorry to hear about your wrap!!Good job on the socks - Yes, strange that 'party' phenomenon! I'll bet the parents would be the forst to complain if they were on the receiving end too.
Don't forget, 2nd Tuesday of the holidays : Knitting Coven!! Oh and I notice you've turned into Amanda!! Very brave!!!!

Sorry about making you feel guilty, but I am sure it is worth it. Can't wait to see your version of Panta.

Neighbours from hell, I think we have all had them from time to time. I remember when Janelle was a baby and I was still up night feeding, this guy over the road would come home from work at 2am in the morning and 'party' killing any chance of my getting back to sleep. Thankfully he moved, maybe Katt can hope for the same thing or that one day he may even forget to use the phone book, OUCH!!!
