you can't always get what you want
Well, the MIL scarf MARKII is done. It is a simple basketweave 6X6 pattern and I think it is quite effective. I think MIL was wanting some more lacy stuff, but hey - I don;t just knit you know. She got the colour she wanted and I think it is nice. It is maybe slightly masculine and I promise there will be photos tomorrow, but my rechargable batteries seem to be unrechargable any more. What can one do?
In other news, of course I had a visitor tonight. Honestly. One day I will have time to finish a Uni assignment and knit. But at the moment, I can only knit! ¶ 10:27 pm

My mum has just knitted herself a basket weave cardigan, so I think the scarf will be fine!!! It is like a law of Nature : the law that if you have things to do there will be a visitor, and if you are at a loose end (as if!!) no-one ever calls!!!
I like the idea of no visitors to get knitting done but there is always the problem of kids and men wanting feeding as well.
