  Ahem, it's me.
Hello! I am still alive! And I have done a tiny bit of knitting. Gosh I have been busy lately . . .

The holidays were spent being unwell. I nursed a sore throat for two weeks and three days. Then I went back to work and it disappeared. Great. I did absolutely no knitting at all, just felt sorry for myself.

However, the other night, out of nowhere, I heard the needles calling me. I started my second toe up Jaywalker sock. I don't even know where the first one is! And since it is show day tomorrow, I will knit and knit and knit. Because I don't plant vegetables. So, show day is sock grow day for me!

Comments:
What?? No tomatoes!! I must plant some teeny tiny ones soon. Isn't that always the way: sick in the holidays?? Glad you have your knittin' hands back though. Lots of people are Jaywalking at the moment!!

mmm jaywalkers Ill get to them soon. We dont have a show day as such round here showday means lots of hard work and judging before finding out what i have placed with my items.

Yay! socks. I'm glad the yarn found its voice.

I've spent the better part of this week trying to be industrious on the first sock form a pair of Jaywlakers. Top down only mind you.

Good to see you back!

Yay that you're healthy again and knittin! Have just started my first set of socks, so very socky on the mind at the moment - keep on truckin' with your Js!

I did so many pairs of socks in a row that I got sick of them but I'm now feeling the call again. I'll check out the jaywalkers. Great to hear from you again and glad you are better.
Cheers Gillian

Oh lucky you, I got dragged along to the show kicking and screaming!!

Glad that you are all better now :)

I will say the magic words that will block your ears to the call of the knitting.

Saris. ELs. Report Writing.

Wine will block out these words but knitting will not compete!!!!!

Thanks for your kind thoughts at our loss.

We will miss her greatly.

Cathy
